Garrett Kling (he/him) is a professional figure skater, choreographer, yoga instructor, and multimedia artist.

He is passionate about entering and creating spaces where authentic expressions of self are fully celebrated and explored. He does this through his love of figure skating, dance, yoga, photography, and storytelling.

He is the Co-Executive Director of American Ice Theatre, and an international figure skating choreographer, receiving his master rating with the Professional Skaters Association in 2016.

In 2017, he received the Ground Breaker Award at the U.S. Open Professional Figure Skating Championships.

Previous performing engagements include Holiday On IceAmerican Ice TheatreIce Theatre of New York, Willy Bietak Productions Dynamic Shows, StageWorks Worldwide Productions, and the 2016 World Figure Skating Championships Opening and Closing Ceremonies. He is currently performing with Le Patin Libre in their new production “Murmuration”.

While on tour In 2017, Garrett discovered his love for yoga. In 2020, he completed Ben Vincent’s intensive Yoga Studies Program and in 2021 received his 200-hr RYT certification through Jamie Coffey & Stephanie Edmond’s YTT at Be Hummingbird Yoga. He currently teaches in the Twin Cities at Yoga Sanctuary.

His creative hobbies include being a freelance photographer, writer and audio storyteller. His audio work was featured on NPR’s Podcast Re:Sound.
